We have a team of over 20 trainers who offer a range of first aid training courses.
Having the correct first aid in the workplace is not only a legal requirement, it is critical for the safety of you and your employees.
Our courses are designed to give delegates the confidence and knowledge to react quickly and appropriately when someone is in need of medical help.
Our range of first aid training courses cover how to recognise and respond to emergency situations in a range of environments, from the office to the outdoors, as well as providing basic medical care before professional help arrives.
Our courses are offered in person or online, designed for people of all skill levels and are regulated and nationally recognised qualifications.

First Aid at Work (RQF)
- Classification: QA Level 3
- Purpose: Designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace.
- Result: Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid.
Emergency First Aid at Work
- Classification: QA Level 3
- Purpose: Specifically designed for people who work in high-risk environments, but it is also beneficial for anyone who wants to learn how to provide emergency first aid.
- Result: This 1-day course covers the essential skills required to deal with emergency first aid situations, such as heart attacks, strokes and serious bleeding and can help you to feel confident in your ability to provide first aid in an emergency situation.
First Aid Essentials
- Classification: QA Level 2
- Purpose: Designed for those who have a specific interest or responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic first aid in emergency situations.
- Result: Successful candidates will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first-aid situations, including CPR, choking, external bleeding, shock and minor injuries
Activity First Aid
- Classification: QA Level 2
- Purpose: Designed for those who have a responsibility to provide first aid in outdoor and activity-based environments.
- Result: Successful candidates will gain the knowledge and skills needed to treat a range of conditions that could occur during any form of activity, from life threatening illnesses to minor injuries.
Forestry First Aid +F (RQF)
- Classification: QA Level 3
- Purpose: This qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.
- Result: Successful learners will be equipped with the practical skills to treat a range of injuries and diseases that could occur in these environments, such as Lyme disease and catastrophic bleeding.
Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)
- Classification: QA Level 2
- Purpose: Designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. Ideal for:
- Those who have gained a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification, have entered into early years setting and wish to be included in the staff-to-child ratios to comply with the EYFS requirements.
- Anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, or grandparents.
- Result: Successful learners will be equipped with key paediatric first-aid skills.
Basic Life Support for Adults & Children
- Classification: QA Level 2
- Purpose: Designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide basic life support for adults and children.
- Result: Successful learners will be equipped with the essential skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support in an emergency situation.
Basic Life Support & Management of Anaphylaxis
- Classification: QA Level 2
- Purpose: Designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities to provide basic life support and manage anaphylaxis when dealing with an emergency.
- Result: Successful learners candidates will be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, and will be equipped with the vital skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective treatment
Basic Life Support & Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF)
- Classification: QA Level 2
- Purpose: Designed to provide candidates with the skills needed to administer safe, prompt and effective basic life support and use an AED safely in emergency situations.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & Automated External Defibrillation
- Classification: QA Level 2
- Purpose: Designed to provide candidates with the skills needed to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an AED safely in emergency situations.

What level of first aid training do I need?
The level of health, safety or first aid training you need will depend on your job role and responsibilities. If you are in doubt, always check with your employer or use our First Aid Calculator to find out what level of training you need.
How do I complete a first aid training course?
Our courses can be completed in person in one of our training centres or online through our eLearning portal.
How long will my first aid training certification last?
Based on industry best practice guidelines, we do have a recommended renewal date between one and three years depending on the course. This date will be printed on your certificate once you have completed the course.
